AB3632 – Assembly Bill 3632 (A California law addressing the mental health needs of students from 1984 – 2010)

ADHD – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

ADD – Attention Deficit Disorder

DHH – Deaf and/or Hard-of-Hearing

ED – Emotionally Disturbed

ERMHS – Educationally Related Mental Health Services

IEE – Independent Education Evaluation

IEP – Individualized Education Program

IFSP – Individual Family Service Plan

FAPE – Free Appropriate Public Education

FAS – Fetal Alcohol Syndrome

FASD – Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

ID – Intellectual Disability

IDEA – Individuals with Disabilities Education Act

LD – Learning Disability or Learning Disorder

LEA – Local Education Agency

MR – Mental Retardation

OCD – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

R/O – Rule Out (used in mental health diagnosis to note diagnosis that are being considered and have not yet been ruled out)
